We had not noticed that the rundown sign at the pizzeria over at Amsterdam Avenue and 123rd Street received a makeover but were impressed with the new retro feel when walking by this corner of West Harlem recently. The old Slice Bun sign that was up previously was a bit confusing and was in such shoddy shape that we never looked twice at going into the establishment. This new Family Affair Restaurant and Pizzeria aesthetic now at least looks a little more inviting even though the shop is just a basic drop ceiling, fluorescent light establishment.
