☞ READ: Dance Theater of Harlem Auditions

The New York Times reports that the Dance Theater of Harlem is currently seeking 18 dancers for its new troupe.  Harlem's famous arts organization closed its doors back in 2004 and had 44 dancers at that time.  Even with the smaller troupe, operations for the revived company will run around $5 million of which half the amount has been received thus far from various foundations.  As far as the auditions go, the Dance Theater of Harlem will be holding them in the traditional manner along with a new video submission format. Read more in the Times: LINK
