The papers reported back in may that Crumbs bake shop signed a lease at 215 West 125th Street but the vacant storefront currently on the site appears to have different designs. We had been eyeing this shop located between FDB/8th Avenue and ACP/7th Avenue and the interior has now been revealed but appears to not fit the Crumbs traditional model. This was the one shop getting all the work done to it so we assumed Crumbs would be arriving here. Right now, the space looks like a shoe store or something that needs a lot of display shelves. ReplyDeleteI am so cupcaked out, so I was never excited for Crumbs anyway. Not with Toni's Minis, Make my Cake, Lee Lees, Pattisserie des Ambassades, and Levain Bakery all nearby and offering a variety of great baked goods. Now a Pinkberry on the other hand .... But yes, Chris, we have plenty of sneaker stores.
ReplyDeleteThe shoe racks are not new installments. They are leftovers from a show store that occupied that space before.
ReplyDeleteYes. CityDweller is correct. Apollo Signature Shoe Store was there early this summer. They were robbed I believed and never reopened after.
