☞ DWELL: Last Contract Out at the Metropolis

Maybe eco-friendly and "green" can sell a building after all.  The Metropolis at 51 East 128th Street took a couple of years to wrap things up but it now appears that the last contract is out on the new construction.  Sales on 12 units have now been completed and the last one bedroom unit up for $325K is now in contract according to Streeteasy: LINK.  This location at 128th Street faces the nondescript Choir Academy building but the surrounding blocks has some rather nice housing stock intact. Another green development recently in contract is a LEED certified brownstone adjacent to the Mount Morris Park Historic District: LINK
