Parsons School of Design alumnus with a BFA in fashion, who has worked in the menswear industry for several years. Past lives have been in the East Village and Lower East Side of Manhattan; more recently transplanted to Harlem. Currently living in a 1907 "French flat," an Edwardian era middle-class apartment.
The Corner Social on Lenox and 126th Street has moved along quickly this month and has just debuted its outdoor cafe. This new eatery on upper Lenox's restaurant row is consistently packed every evening and folks took advantage of the new seating last night. A recent write up in the New York Times notices that the Harlem restaurant taps into the current trends of subway tile walls, reclaimed wood interiors and outdoor dining: LINK. This is the look everyone heads downtown for so it is no surprise that this new business has locals staying uptown to spend their money.
