Parsons School of Design alumnus with a BFA in fashion, who has worked in the menswear industry for several years. The subways started running again in New York City as of 6:00AM this morning but there will be no downtown or west Brooklyn stops available. Uptowners who need to get to work at midtown should fare well but anyone who has to go below 34th Street will probably have to walk, take a cab or bus if available. Harlem is located on the higher elevations of Manhattan so the village was saved from most of the power outages and extreme flooding that has prevented much of downtown from recovering at this point.
