A Bespoke reader mentioned that a new soul food spot will be arriving on lower Lenox and sent in a photo of the interior that is still under renovation. There used to be an old African market shop at this storefront just south of 118th Street but recently the old awning has been stripped down and a silvery coat of paint has been added to the facade. Apparently the new establishment will be called Foot N' It with "food so good, will think granny is in the kitchen." Based on the interior and exterior, locals should expect a glamourous type of southern cooking joint to arrived in this section adjacent to the Mount Morris Park Historic District.
