☞ BESPOKE: Serengeti Teas & Spices Opens

We walked by Serengeti Teas & Spices today and noticed that the boutique shop had opened on FDB/8th Avenue by 122nd Street.  The owner was giving out free sample of the chai tea for the day and we have to say that this new business is one of the better ones to arrive in Harlem. The owners have a family history of tea import from Africa and Asia so the offering is on point and very specialized.  We tend to not order flavored coffees or teas for they usually come from some sort of pump in a bottle but Serengeti infuses all their flavors and makes them from fresh ingredients in house.

Brooklyn has been known for its artisanal uprising in food culture and Harlem has been lacking in this area until now.  Serengeti is a game changer so drop buy and check it out. There are special blends made specifically each day also so there will always be something new to try out.  Hours are from 7:30AM-7:00PM for now and food service will arrive later.  All the teas are made on the spot so folks should be patient when visiting!  Serengeti Teas and Spices also sell canisters of their specialty blend teas.

  1. Is it just teas and coffees or do they have spices as well?

  2. Awesome. I agree that Harlem needs more artisanal shops. It's what makes neighborhoods special. I'm looking forward to going this week!
