☞ SHOP: Carvin's Mini Donuts to Open on Lenox
Lenox Wines has been shuttered for a few years now at the corner of 129th Street at 381 Lenox and it now appears a boutique donut shop will open up on the spot. A sign announcing that Carvin's Minis will arrive soon was posted recently as reported by a Bespoke reader. We could only find a placeholder Facebook site that states the establishment is a family restaurant that will be "The place to go for Fresh Hot Mini Donuts and Gourmet Drinks in Harlem USA."
Drinks and artisanal donuts sound like a new concept for Harlem so we expect at least something different for this corner of Lenox. On that note, a beignet and pastry shop has been planned to set up adjacent to the new Lenox Lounge further south so maybe gourmet donuts is the next big Harlem trend: LINK

any word when the beignet/ pastry shop is supposed to open? I thought last spring but it doesnt look like anything is happening there....
ReplyDeleteI thought the beignet place was connected to the Notar/Lenox Lounge thing, and was on indefinite hold. Maybe someone can clarify?
ReplyDeleteWhy is "A Black Owned Company" in such small font on the sign? It should be bigger
ReplyDeleteWhy is "Black owned company" even necessary to write?
ReplyDelete"A Black Owned Company" will make me support it regardless if I like donuts or not.
