Friday March 14th, 7:00PM-9:00PM, Live Jazz at Il Caffe Latte 145th Street, 458 West 145th Street between Convent and Amsterdam. The Kyle K Green Trio will be performing during dinner service at the new Il Caffe Latte location on West 145th Street. As with most new establishment in Harlem, this second location of the original Lenox Avenue cafe has been introducing live music during the weekends to help showcase some of the local talent.
Sunday, March 16th, 3:00PM, Opera at Mount Morris Ascension Church, 15 Mount Morris Park West & West 122nd Street, Suggested Donation: $10. THREE ON 3 PRESENTS is the brainchild of next-door neighbors Craig Harris and Patricia Pates Eaton, who have combined forces to bring live music to the Mount Morris District and the surrounding Harlem Community. Their mission is to heighten the level of comprehensive music appreciation in jazz, opera, spoken work and music of the African Diaspora. In addition Harlem will be shown in a cultural light as they will provide a venue for artists to participate in music.
