A Bespoke reader pointed out that the above photo that shows PS184 at 116th Street about a century ago is an accurate depiction of a twin school to
PS186 up on 145th Street. PS186 remains in ruins today and the twin building on 116th apparently was demolished decades ago. There had been a couple of large lots at this 116th Street location but now new condo developments line both sides of this block just west of Fifth Avenue.
