INTRODUCING: THE HANDPULLED NOODLE IN HARLEM
Based on a Facebook page established a couple of months back, it appear that The Handpulled Noodle shop will be opening in Harlem sometimes in January. From the information provided, the storefront will be located around 148th Street next to Harlem Public and the kitchen has already finished up. There are no longer that many available commercial spaces on this block but we did notice one shop at 3600 Broadway that had been under construction for some time. There are also Craig's List ads up looking for line cooks and the description of the spot along with the graphic logos provided on Facebook promises something that is more to trend than the typical hole in the wall mom and pop. We like the retro feel of the artwork provided thus far and authentic handpulled chinese noodles in Hamilton Heights sound like a sure thing since such a concept has not arrived uptown until this point in time. ReplyDeleteThis is AMAZING news.
ReplyDeleteThanks God these changes are finally coming to Hamilton Heights!
ReplyDeleteAlong Broadway from 140 to 150th, there are several really good spots to eat and now with Handpulled, its really a lovely and diverse offering. LOVE it. Now, we just need to find a space for Mountain Bird!
ReplyDeleteI walked the 10 blocks and saw: anchor, chipped cup, harlem public, wallace, unione etc...
Broadway in the 140s is like the UWS circa 1983.
ReplyDeleteAll the pining for the old days, should come on up!
Oh. My. God. Can't wait to try this place when it opens!
