EAT: A MENU PREVIEW OF STREETBIRD ROTISSERIE
Chef Marcus Samuelsson had a pop up charity event last night that previewed some of the menu items being tested for the new Streetbird Rotisserie set to open on 116th Street and FDB. Via the Marcus Cooks Instagram account, folks who could not make it got a glimpse of what to expect uptown in the coming months. Perfect roast chicken on a bed of what looks like a version of Lo Mein noodles offer a new version of takeout fare usually found all throughout Harlem and the deviled eggs are just a welcome bit of home cooking. We definitely like this more casual approach since the bigger culinary scene in New York City is all about approachable dining and hopefully the prices will also reflect this concept.
