A Bespoke reader sent in the above photo of the construction site at the huge lot on 153rd Street just east of Broadway which has already broken ground. Based on details we found on Curbed, this appears to be the location of an energy efficient
passive building that has 40 units planned altogether. When all finishes up at 542 West 153rd Street, the new green construction will be a pioneer for not only Harlem but also for the entire island of Manhattan. Read more in Curbed NY:
