As expected, Lulu's Taqueria is definitely opening sooner than later. No official announcements has been posted on the new storefront at the corner of Manhattan Avenue and 123rd Street but when we asked one of the crew on hand, they mentioned that the debut date would be Monday, May 4th. We personally like all of the light the french doors bring into this corner storefront and this will definitely be one of the new hot spots to hang out at now that the warm weather is here.
I like how this pops. I never seen the previous establishment but this certainly is good use of the space. For some wierd reason it reminds me of the vibe or possibly lay out of Blvd on Lennox.

ReplyDeleteIt used to be called Perk's. A restaurant, bar, lounge, and mini club downstairs back in the day with strong drinks and pretty bartenders.
