CELEBRATE: HARLEM BASTILLE DAY 2015

Harlem Bastille Day hosted by Maison Harlem will be this Sunday and Sugar Hill Market will be showcasing local artisans as part of the outdoor uptown celebration. West 127th Street by St. Nicholas Avenue will be blocked off for the day and revelers can expect live jazz music, a petanque field, French street food and the great Sugar Hill Market vendors. Maison Harlem is donating part of the proceeds of the day's afternoon brunch service to the Global Language Project which supports bi-lingual learning within low-income neighborhoods of the city. Bastille Day is France's Independence Day but also a great way to celebrate Harlem's multi-cultural communities, support local vendors and also help raise funds for a great non-profit.  Mark those calendars for this weekend and make sure to drop by Maison Harlem on Sunday for brunch along with checking out the shopping and festivities on the street.

More details will be posted daily on the Sugar Hill Market Instagram account: LINK
