ARCHITECTURE: THE ALHAMBRA BALLROOM MARQUEE
A Bespoke Facebook fan sent in the above photo of the Alhambra Ballroom on the corner of 126th and 7th as it stood circa 1910. We had mentioned that the historic street level facade is currently being renovated so hopefully whoever is coming in might just take note of some of the older architectural references out there. Also missing in modern times are the original sets of cornices at the top of the building. Check out our past post to see what this site looks like today: LINK
