Things were looking awful quiet over by the Hudson River Cafe by Fairway and now a Bespoke tip has come in that the pioneer dining establishment has indeed shuttered. HRC was one of the first new establishments to appear under the viaduct by the river just north of 125th Street and appeared to have more of a lounge crowd during the evenings. We like the roof top terrace with its amazing views so maybe another restaurant can come along and update the space to attract more day business. Since the location is off the beaten path, a really stellar business like Dinosaur Bar-B-Que needs to establish themselves here to make this business model work. Currently a "For Lease" sign has now been posted out front.
