We dropped by Mess Hall last night on FDB by 118th Street and tried out of few of the new crafted cocktails on the menu. Mess Hall is now famous for the watering hole's Happy Hours which runs from 4:00PM-8:00PM and features pocket friendly prices on select drinks but those who want something more specialized should try out the new offerings. One of the standouts that we tried last night was the Lodge Lemonade which has a maple infused bourbon that adds a more complex depth to the citrusy pink lemonade cocktail that definitely was more grownup. Mezcal is sort of the thing to try these days and the smokey agave spirits in the Smoking Grizzly is probably one of our favorite drinks we have tried this year. Mixed with sweet vermouth and finished off with orange bitters, this new elixir will definitely keep one warm during those chilly fall evenings. Mess Hall is open late every night of the week so make sure to check out the new drink offerings. For more on Mess Hall, check out our past post on the 8th Avenue hot spot: LINK
