The last big hurricane caused a few old storefronts on 7th Avenue at the corner of 126th Street to collapse a few years back and now a new building is finally going up. A couple of digger rigs were on the site last week and we noticed a new rendering had been posted on the plywood which reveals a 9-story, mix-used new construction. It is unclear if this will be a rental or condo when things finish up in Spring 2017 but what is definite is that the residential element on ACP just north of 125th Street is starting to develop once again.
ACP can be a little shady north of 125th at night so it's nice to see a new building going in there. Hopefully there will be commercial along the street level too so that it is a nice busy place to walk.
