ARCHITECTURE: CIRCA TOPS OFF AT 110TH STREET
Harlem's most ambitious architectural project to rise this year has topped off at the corner off FDB and 110th Street. The development called Circa on the Park has 11 floors all together if one counts the penthouse levels and there will be a total of 49 condos. Reportedly 38 of those units will be market rate and an affordable element will be part of the mix. One to five bedroom apartments will be available starting at $970.5K at the semi circular new construction with Central Park views when finished up along with community space on the ground floor. This location is also just by the 110th Street local train stop and thus is quite ideal for this residential tower that sits on a former gas station lot at the southern border of Central Harlem. I think it looks great. Love the curve to reflect the existing circle.
ReplyDeleteDare I say it could be taller? It is on the Park and two wide streets, plus its so much better then the bunkers known as Towers on the Park.
We need more housing, so build taller on sites like this.
