Supermodel legend Lana Ogilvie will be in Harlem this weekend at the Fashion Week presentation planned for this Sunday, February 7th at the Harlem Collective.  Ms. Ogilvie was the first black model to receive a major contract with cosmetic giant Cover Girl and has been photographed numerous times for major fashion editorials in Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire and also the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue before taking on the next challenge of raising a family.  The fashion world icon recently shot a campaign with Christy Brinkly and still does some work but mainly focuses a lot of time on her designer vermeil jewelry collection (lower photo) called Sabre which features the craft learned in design school at an early age.  Make sure to check out the big Fashion, Design, Art + Retail event open to the public which will be hosted by Sugar Hill Market and the Harlem Collective at 1867 Amsterdam Avenue by 152nd Street from 1:00PM-5:00PM this coming Sunday: LINK
