Harlem Bespoke: We noticed signs around West Harlem designating curb-side parking space for a two year Carshare Pilot Program that the Department of Transportation is working on. This is basically like Citi Bike but using Zipcar or Enterprise CaShare to rent out automobiles for a a short period of time. There will be other reserved areas in Manhattan to park the said rented vehicles so the goal is to provide a quick way to rent a ride and also get parked quickly at the final destination. It also appears that East Harlem will be included in the the pilot program. More on this program on the DOT site:
