BESPOKE: GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE IN THE PARK

Harlem Bespoke:  We passed through J.Hood Wright Park by 173rd Street and Haven Avenue this past weekend and noticed that the playground was designed to pay homage to one of the iconic landmarks of the Heights.  The George Washington Bridge on the far west end provides a dramatic backdrop of Washington Heights and the park named after a prominent resident of the area from 1800s does a great job in celebrating the architectural elements of the neighborhood.  Those who want to know more about the history of the park should check out the official NYC site: LINK
