☞ REVIVE: 2830 Macombs Place Flatiron Building

Walking by the triangular lot at Macomb Place and West 150th Street, we noticed that there was a recently restored building ready for tenants but for some reason sits empty. The miniature flatiron building at 2830 Macombs Place also intersect upper FDB/8th Avenue and has a really unique, triangular ground commercial space with a distinct point at the front. On sunny days, one can see through all the windows with the white walls and newly polished floors revealed on each floor. Does anyone know what's going on with this space? The lot might have a couple of addresses since its on a unique corner but 2830 was what we could find on the side of the building. The nearest subway to this location is the 3 train at 148th street. 1. I'm not sure how old this PDF is, but it looks like they're rent controlled units.

  2. I'm glad this building is getting tenants after being abandon for over 30 years, but as to when, no one knows. I use to call this building Father Divine's bldg because most of the stores were owned by Father Divine's church.
