☞ SEE: The Valentines Collection at MCNY

Feb 6 through Feb 26. The Museum of the City of New York in East Harlem is sharing Valentine's Day with visitors by way of a special exhibition on view Saturday, February 6 through Friday, February 26, featuring some 45 valentines from the collection. Some sweet, some corny, many adorable, all heartfelt, these Valentine's Day greetings were either crafted by hand or manufactured between 1840 and 1940 (click on photo to enlarge). The Museum of the City of New York is at 1220 Fifth Avenue, between 103rd and 104th Street. Nearest subway is the 6 train at 103rd Street or 2,3 at 110th Street.
