☞ READ: PS90 in the Wall Street Journal
We have been covering PS90 for the past year and today's Wall Street Journal has an update on the adaptive reuse schoolhouse-turned-condo on 220 West 148th Street. The large size apartments have had their price cut around 20% since last fall and the going rate is currently at $520 a square foot. The article also reveals that, "contracts have been signed for 14 of the project's 55 market rate apartments and 13 of 20 lower priced apartments, available only to buyers who meet strict income limitations." Folks might remember that the Central Harlem school had been abandoned for 30 years, had trees growing from it and was given to L + M Development Partners in 2008 to restore as condos at a cost of $40 million. The last photo is an example of the interior before the restoration. Read more in today's WSJ: LINK. Read our past posts on PS90: LINK.

For those folks who don't get the WSJ in print, they highlighted this story at the very top of the front page (above the masthead), using the first photo above and the tagline: "A Sign of Harlem's Resurgence"...
