☞ DWELL: 432 West 154th Street Brownstone

OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, October 1:00 PM-3:00 PM.  The 18 foot wide, landmark brownstone at 432 West 154th Street (painted white) has been on the market since 2008 and had previously gone into contract this year.  Back on the market for $1.15 million, the 4,608 square foot, 4 bedroom, 4 and a half bath building is basically divided into two duplexes at this point.  The C of O is for a three family building but that would mean converting the garden floor into an additional apartment.  Top floors appear to be in decent condition with original woodwork but the baths and kitchens look like builder's grade fare from two decades ago.  The townhouse was up for $1.65 million back in 2008 so there's a decent discount for those looking for a deal.  Location wise, the block is tree lined and has some handsome housing but not much else is happening in the area.  The express A,C train is on the next street up at 155th and St. Nicholas.
