☞ DWELL: 11 East 127th Sold in December
It took a couple of years but the townhouse at 11 East 127th Street (at far left) has finally sold based on public records posted in December. The 19 foot wide, 4,380 square foot home with a 3-family layout was first listed back in 2008 for $1.65 million but the house didn't move until the asking price finally went down to $1.29 million last year. A contract was out about 3 months ago and the house finally sold for $1.175 million. This East Harlem location is just right across the street from the Langston Hughes house which is still on the market and around the corner from Fifth Avenue.

I wish the new owner luck. My husband and I seriously considered this house back in 2008, but couldn't get around the really horrible neighbors next door. (Think the neighbors in A Xmas Story, and you get the idea.) Pretty interior, though.
