We wrote about the old Mason's lodge at 139 West 123rd Street back in August when it was up on the market for the asking price of $725K and recently noticed the For Sale sign removed from the facade. The 20 foot wide brownstone located adjacent to the Mount Morris Park Historic District was apparently a 5-6 family (but not an SRO) commercial building which might have made it difficult for an average buyer to get a mortgage. Based on public records, this fixer upper exchanged ownership back at the end of November 2010 for $540K so maybe an all cash transaction was had? Did anyone take a look at this one?
