☞ DWELL: 240 Lenox Avenue on Market

The massive 23 foot wide corner house with a mansard roof at 122nd and Lenox just arrived on the market a couple of days ago.  There's about 5,755 foot of space in the red brick and limestone townhouse at 240 Lenox Avenue but photos have not been made available yet from what we can gather. Interestingly enough, this building is a legal 2-family and not chopped up into multiple apartments. This location is in the historic district, less than two blocks away from the subway and close to some great restaurants.  As for the asking price, the property is currently going for $3.2 million which would make it one of the most expensive houses on the market in this part of town.  The facade appears to not have had much work done on it in some time and the interior could possibly need a full update which may be the details that will affect the final selling price.
