☞ DWELL: 67 West 126th Street Sold in March

There's a whole lot of nothing happening to a row of townhouses on West 126th Street (around the corner from Lenox) but one of the shells has just officially sold a couple of weeks ago. A white-painted townhouse at number 67 West 126th Street was bought up back in 2004 but has been sitting vacant which apparently was due to a foreclosure.  The 18 foot wide,  2,450 square foot property was sold off in an auction for the price of $499K and the lower photo shows that the scaffolding is already up to get things started.  This corner is just by the Red Rooster so maybe new interest in the area will help out some of the other buildings get started again on this north side of the street.

  1. $499k is a deal for this great location, with the scaffold up so soon, looks like they know what they are doing, a boost to this row that seems to have been frozen in limbo.
