Going through the Make Music New York's long list of free Harlem music venues, one might notice that the Harlem Tavern is presenting a performance tomorrow night at the big live music New York City event. So does this count as a soft opening for the 116th Street eatery? More details on the event after the jump. UPDATE: THE HARLEM TAVERN PERFORMANCE APPARENTLY HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Checking out the list of Harlem venues that will have music groups set up on site, it appears that Harlem Tavern has committed to getting a blues band together for tomorrow afternoon from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (see below). There has not been any announcements on opening dates of Harlem Tavern except that the debut will be before the 25th so could this be a soft opening? There's a lot more to see in greater Harlem tomorrow night so check out the MMNY site:
