The 2011 Harlem Skyscraper Cycling Classic was this past Sunday at Marcus Garvey Park and more than one media event apparently seemed to be happening during this athletic competition. Cyclist from around the world showed up for the cycling event by Fifth Avenue and 121st Street but something else was going on at one of the food trucks that was on site. The Wafels & Dinges Truck usually stops up around
Morningside Heights on Broadway but made an appearance this weekend at the race course along with a camera crew. As can be seen at the lower photos, the Travel Channel's Adam Richmond was on hand filming an episode of the show Man V. Food which challenges the host to consume some large offering at a famous eatery. Belgium waffles are usually served with sweet toppings or "dinges" but the one eaten at this particular outing might be a deluxe version rarely seen.
