A new facade window was added on 325 Lenox Avenue several months ago (top photo) but the space has been boarded up until now. The shop located between 126th and 127th Street had filed a few more permits but nothing was approved until this week so a crew was out front yesterday (lower photo) doing a major gut renovation of the interior. This side of Lenox has quite a few empty storefronts but the retail has slowly been come back with the arrival of the Red Rooster on upper Lenox. As far as the new establishment goes, all the paperwork states that it will be called Cove Lounge so expect a new night spot. A quick google search of the address also has the name appearing on the map and a website place holder: CoveLoungeNYC.com
I wonder if this is any relation to the other Cove on the far west side.
ReplyDeleteThings are really looking up in Harlem!
ReplyDeleteThey have a really nice industrial looking metal door.
ReplyDeleteThe place on the westside is called Covo, this place is called Cove Lounge NYC. A quick web search just revealed a real snazzy logo.
ReplyDeleteThat is correct my error, thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteAdded the link to Cove Lounge NYC at the end of the post.
ReplyDeleteIt nice to see Lenox devloping.
ReplyDeleteI cant wait for this one.
They have an unfinished heavy steel plate entry door opening to a long hallway with a gothic arched ceiling, very creative.
