☞ DWELL: 246 West 139th Street Townhouse

OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, July 31st, 12:00 Noon-1:30 PM. The house at 246 West 139th Street is in the Strivers Row neighborhood of Central Harlem and first appeared on the market back in December for the asking price of $1.995 million. Pretty keen renovations seem to have been made to the interior but 7 months later the property between ACP/7th and FDB/8th has now reduced its price. More photos and the new price after the jump.

The 17 foot wide, landmark home on the stretch of houses in Central Harlem that all have old carriage stables-turned-to-garages out in the back is technically a 2-family since there is one rental studio on the ground floor of the 4-story building.  Currently the price has dropped down to $1.85 million for the apparently well appointed townhouse with 3 bedrooms and 4 baths  altogether. Square footage has been quoted at 2,715 in total but old estimates usually do not count the cellar floor. More photos via Elliman: LINK
