☞ INTRODUCING: New Look at 19 West 120th

One of the most distinct houses in the Mount Morris Park Historic District was purchased over a year ago and has recently had scaffolding up on the facade for a good part of the summer. Number 19 West 120th Street is a stunning 20 foot wide landmark with a major oriel window out front so what does it look like now after the work has been finished at this townhouse located just east of Lenox?  Current photo after the jump.

Verdigris green appears to be the color selected for the cornice and the bay window which provides a complementary accent to the red brick of the facade.  Everything would have been approved by the Landmarks Commission so this is a pretty acceptable color scheme.  Looking at DOB records, it also appears that the townhouse was finally converted from an SRO into a 2-family home.
