The Harlem Dandy known as Dandy Wellington has been showing up all over the place in past couple of years and New York magazine recently caught up with the trend setter who happens to also head up his own band. Sartorial menswear has been the fashion movement mostly seen downtown and Brooklyn but the Harlem Dandy has promoted the look to a new level that consistently attracts the local media. The bespoke performer has now founded a jazz ensemble that reflects his own sensibilities and requires members to dress sharply as well as be talented. Check out the Look Book interview in New York magazine: LINK. For those who actually want to see the Dandy's jazz band, Harlem Tavern will feature the artist at their first annual Oktoberfest celebration this weekend: LINK.
