A modern townhouse located on a former empty lot at 182 East 117th Street went into contract in December after being on the market for over a year. The 25 foot wide building was initially listed for $999K and has incrementally decreased to the current $899K price. This space has 3 floors and roughly 2,100 square foot of space altogether. Location wise, the 4,6 train is just a block away on Lexington Avenue and the immediate area has quite a bit of new construction.
probably was worth more as a vacant lot. Damn but that is one ugly building. Still, 25 feet wide? That’s pretty swank.
ReplyDeleteI remember when they were building this one. I kept thinking, "When are they going to come back to finish?" I like modern architecture as much as anyone, but this is just ugly. A bit of an eyesore on that block, IMO.
