OPEN HOUSE: Sunday, February 12th, 2:30PM-3:30PM. The townhouse showcased in this week's Wall Street Journal is non other than Number 532 West 148th Street in West Harlem. This house has been on the market since last September and is currently asking for $1.595 million. We guessed that an artist must live in this gut renovated abode and this week's Journal confirms our theory. Check out additional photos after the jump.
At 16 foot in width, the townhouse which was converted from a rooming house has a reported 2,646 square foot of space altogether. The single-family home appears to be move-in ready and the closest express train is just about three block east of this location between Amsterdam and Broadway. More details on the broker site: LINK
I thought I saw a new 'for sale' sign today in front of a townhouse on the West side of Lenox, between 123rd/124th Sts. So tried to find it on Streeteasy - and the only 2 that came up - to my shock & surprise - were one for $4 mil and one for $3 mil. Indigo Arms is now $3,999,000......Wow!
