☞ DWELL: 235 West 132nd Street Townhouse

A renovated 3-family home at 235 West 132nd Street is now up on the market for $1.595 million.  This up and coming block in Central Harlem located just west of ACP/7th Avenue has a lot of intact brownstones that have been going through renovations in the past few years and is only a couple of blocks away from St. Nicholas Park and about a 10 minute walk from the restaurant row of Upper Lenox Avenue.

With that said, the building is just a modest 16-foot wide and not too much detail exists on the inside but lots of charming brick can be found throughout.  Three working fireplaces along with central air are also some key points to note. To make the space more period appropriate, the stagers owner has added a lot of character by decorating the interior with 19th century paintings, antique rugs and taxidermy which one would often find in a Victorian household back in the day.  More details can be found on the broker site: LINK

  2. They're actually Antelope. We refer to it as our African room. The curtains feature lions and elephants, the carpet has gazelle, and of course there is the taxidermy.
We have loved living in Harlem and have found great joy in decorating our home with what felt fitting.
