☞ INTRODUCING: Il Caffe Latte Debuts on 145th
Il Caffe Latte on Lenox Avenue has now officially opened their second branch on 145th Street just east of Amsterdam. We had a tour of the charming two level restaurant space this past Friday and was amazed by the charm of the new location. Those familiar with the Lenox Avenue shop will recognize details such as the tin ceilings or mosaic tiles but the many original details of the brownstone space sets this new branch apart from its predecessor. Il Caffe Latte is a great affordable option in Harlem so check out the new eatery which also has a lot of ambiance to it. For now, the cafe is only open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM but expect weekend and dinner service once things are more established.

Very creative, this is a great addition to 145th St.
ReplyDeleteI'm drinking my first latte at the Caffe as I write. Soft opening--within a month a beer/wine license, full dinner menu and live music in the evening. Best part---I live a block away....
ReplyDeleteWe will be there today also!
ReplyDeleteMe too ! It is important to support these businesses ! FINALLY we are seeing these additions in my part of NYC !!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see this is also called Il Caffe Latte, it has a similar unique style as the lower Lenox original, it is almost a brand.
ReplyDeleteits so close. i'm thinking about venturing there now...
ReplyDeletethis place is great. my one complaint, which i hope the owner listens to, is to not require table service for coffee/breakfast. (I went in last week with a friend around 8am for a quick bite, and they had us sit down and order.) i'd like to just go in and get a coffee and sit there.
ReplyDeleteThey definitely let you have coffee and baked goods to go since we drop by all the time in both locations just to grab a cup. Not sure what happened in your situation
