BESPOKE: TRENDING ETHNIC PRINTS

Sugar Hill Market x Harlem Garage, Sunday,June 15th, 10:00AM-6:00PM, 318 West 118th Street.  Patterns and prints are one of the big trends for Summer 2014 and a younger generation in Harlem have been using African Prints and traditional head wraps to make their mark in the world of fashion,  The label Fanm Djanm means "strong women" in Haiti and founder Paola Mathe makes it a point to empower young with cultural pride while mixing it up in a modern way.  Strong neutral palettes are quite of the moment also but adding this hit of pattern will dress up any look.  Ms. Mathe was quite popular at the last event and will be on hand for tutorials on how to wrap the distinct fabrics at this weekend's market.
