The Sunday, June 15th, Sugar Hill Market x Harlem Garage, from 10:00AM-6:00PM at 318 West 118th Street is a spectacular day of shopping but also a great opportunity for meeting the team at Harlem Garage to see what it is all about.  So what is the Harlem Garage and how does the organization help local small businesses?

The HarlemGarage is not just a coworking space for local businesses and startups, but truly a collaborative hub for the Harlem entrepreneurial community. Located in Central Harlem, HG serves as unique space for community members to work, network, and grow.

Presently, The HarlemGarage houses more than 35 Valet businesses working in a dozen industries and using the space as a full-time office location. These members have dedicated work space, hold meetings in the collaboration areas, use HG as their business address, and attend free and low-cost events in the space. Aside from those who use HG as a full-time office environment, many take advantage of day passes to enjoy a vibrant and professional space to work in.

The HarlemGarage facilitates collaboration in the community by partnering with local organizations to help produce and host events. HG has worked with a host of local organizations including Bespoke, Community Board 10, Silicon Harlem, Blacks in Technology, and the Columbia University Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center. Past events have included panel discussions, technology meetups, startup demo days, and more. Most events are free to the community to encourage an enriching atmosphere for all.
