DWELL: 471-475 WEST 146TH STREET IN CONTRACT
Three new townhouses on West 146th Street apparently all have contracts out based on the initial $2.5 million asking for each building. We kind of have mixed feeling about these 2-unit contemporary townhouses since the developer does give a little effort but those pitched rooflines look more like they belong in Queens than in an elegant brownstone neighborhood. Now if only someone could get the modern, contextual thing right with smaller homes, that would be something to see up in Harlem. More on the broker site: LINK

I wonder why they didn't make one condo building in this space....could have made a lot of units here
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised these all sold out. They aren't the prettiest places around and the interiors were dark and dated. Seller's market.
