Paola Mathe is the founder of the African print head wrap line called Fanm Djanm founded in Harlem and is one of the great faces of Sugar Hill Market.  The company's name means "strong woman" in Haiti where Ms. Mathe grew up originally and represent a new generation of women who are proud of the multi-cultural backgrounds around them.  Fanm Djanm is a movement with thousands of follower on Facebook and Instagram with women from all backgrounds embracing this casual but chic African inspired look.  Come to Sugar Hill Market this Sunday, August 17th within the garden gallery of La Maison d'Art to meet Paolo, check out the latest print collection and also see tutorials on various ways to wear the trendy head wraps.
