DWELL: 237 WEST 136TH STREET IN CONTRACT
One of the unique houses just east of 8th Avenue on West 136th Street has sold based on an asking price of $1.65 million. Number 237 West 136th Street is a 2-family townhouse with quite a bit of original details but is a modest 16-foot-wide and is also missing the amazing cornice at top which should have matched the others on the block. With that said, there are still a lot original details to work with inside the building and maybe the new owners can come up with a more cost effective update to fix the roof details since the closing price for this property will probably be one of more affordable ones in the past year.
