DWELL: NORTH ASTOR ROW SRO FOR $3 MILLION
Number 57 West 130th Street on the north side of Astor Row has finally arrived on the market for the asking price of $3 million. These mansard townhouses are not the famous landmark buildings of 130th Street but they do face the porch-front homes built by the Astor family in the 1800s. One of those fully renovated homes sold at a record $2.4 million last year and it appears that the neighbor across the street has taken note. With that said, the rather large building looks to be in really bad shape and closer to being a shell than a restored property going for top dollar. There are no original details to be salvaged and the townhouse is technically still an SRO: LINK
