Who can guess this Harlem vantage point taken circa 1941? This was the year when the elevated train tracks were being dismantled so a safe assumption is that one of the major avenues can be seen at this location. Another clue is the building to the right which has a unique triangular foot print.
ANSWER: This view is that of 8th Avenue and 150th Street. What is now known as FDB splits off towards the right of the triangular building which still stands today but is missing the grand cornice up top.
