Carvin's mini donuts opened in late spring last year and did not last into the new year based on the rent sign posted out front. This corner of Lenox and 129th Street has a lot of foot traffic but somehow the concept did not really do well within a market that is seeking more artisanal offerings. With that said, we heard for a second time yesterday that a sushi spot is definitely planned for the commercial space but the rent sign on the window still makes us wonder if it will really happen.
